Biodynamic Massage/Body Therapy

A psychotherapeutic approach to body-based healing, drawing on over a dozen hands-on techniques to release emotional tension and stress, encourage self-regulation, and deepen self-connection.

What makes it unique?

What drew me to this work, and what makes it unique, is the depth of presence and listening it invites. Rather than focusing solely on physical tension, biodynamic massage takes a psychotherapeutic approach, using touch to listen to the body and work with its life force energy.

Each session is intuitively guided by what is present for you. A specialised stethoscope is used to listen to psycho-peristalsis — gut reactions understood in biodynamic psychology as a signal of the release of emotional tension in the body.

Biodynamic massage is also taught within a four-year body psychotherapy training, grounding the practice in a deep understanding of healing with sensitivity and trauma-informed awareness.

What does it support?

Somatic Trauma Recovery: Gently works with protective patterns of somatic holding, creating space to rebuild a sense of safety, trust and connection within the body.

Stress, Anxiety, & Overwhelm: Supports nervous system regulation, helping the body move from heightened alertness towards rest, restoration and a deeper sense of ease.

Chronic Pain & Psychosomatic Symptoms: Works with patterns of tension and restriction to invite greater mobility, fluidity and energy flow that can be particularly helpful for conditions such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.

Breath & Energy Harmonisation: Opens restricted breathing patterns and aligns the aura and subtle energy body for a more harmonious flow and vitality.

Embodied Relationship & Vitality: Deepens interoception and emotional awareness, connecting you to your intuition, natural pleasure, and vital energy.

How do I get started?

Sessions are open to both men and women, priced at £80 individually or £75 per session when booked in a series of 3 or 5.

For sessions booked in November, there is a special introductory rate of £65 for the first session.
